Polar/Wind Spacecraft Engineer
Larry Nichols Retires

After 20+ years of service to many NASA flight projects, including the Polar, Wind and Dynamics Explorer spacecraft, Larry Nichols retired effective January 1, 2003.

In recognition of this milestone, the Polar and Wind Flight Operations Team held a 'good ole time' in honor of Larry, his wife Fran, and in honor of Larry's many contributions to NASA flight projects. We will miss his dedicated attention and his calm, confident demeanor in the coming years.
