Conveners: Janet Luhmann (UCB), Joan Feynman (JPL), and C. St. Cyr (CUA)

Tues AM session on the Y2K events: This session will focus on relating the interplanetary consequences of the Y2K space weather events (in April, June, July, August, etc.) to their solar causes in an effort to further understand how these solar maximum events originate and evolve. There will be several introductory discussions of the solar, interplanetary, and Earth responses, followed by an open floor for contributions. (

Interested participants should contact one of the organizers with a title of the talks they wish to present or events they wish to discuss.
